KIRKLAND KIWANIS FOUNDATION
 
The Kirkland Kiwanis Foundation (KKF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Washington corporation, which allows for fully tax deductible donations to various charitable causes.  Originally entitled The Kiwanis Club of Kirkland Jack Keller Memorial Foundation, it was amended to its current name on February 08, 2010.  Consistent with their objective of helping children and young people in Greater Kirkland, the foundation currently administers two dedicated memorial funds:
 
 
 The KKF also provides fundraising and administrative support to the North Rose Hill Community Association's efforts to rebuild the popular Woodlands Park Small Play Area (also known by parents and children as the Tot Lot).
 
Eliminate
 
Additionally, the Kirkland Kiwanis Foundation actively supports the Eliminate Project, a joint effort between Kiwanis International and UNICEF which is dedicated to eliminating the scourge of maternal neonatal tetanus, a leading cause of newborn deaths in Third World countries.
